Love Story

"Love Story", Taylor Swift

We were both young when I first saw you

I close my eyes and the flashbacks start

I'm standing there

On a balcony in summer air

See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns

I see you make your way through the crowd

And say hello

Little did I know

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles

And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"

And I was crying on the staircase

Begging you, please don't go

And I said

Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone

I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run

You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess

It's a love story

Baby, just say yes

So, I sneak out to the garden to see you

We keep quiet cause we're dead if they knew

So close your eyes

Escape this town for a little while

Oh oh

Cause you were Romeo, I was the scarlet letter

And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"

But you were my everything to me

I was begging you, please don't go

And I said

Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone

I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run

You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess

It's a love story

Baby, just say yes

Romeo, save me

They try to tell me how I feel

This love is difficult, but it's real

Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess

It's a love story

Baby, just say yes

Oh oh

I got tired of waiting

Wondering if you were ever coming around

My faith in you is fading

When I met you on the outskirts of town

And I said

Romeo, save me

I've been feeling so alone

I keep waiting for you, but you never come

Is this in my head

I don't know what to think

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring

And said

Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone

I love you and that's all I really know

I talked to your dad

Go pick out a white dress

It's a love story

Baby, just say yes

Oh oh oh

Oh oh oh oh

'Cause we were both young when I first saw you

I am the wind

"I am the wind", Cynthia Harrell

Just like the wind
I've always been
Driftin' high up in a sky that never ends
Through thick and then
I always win
'Cause I will fight both life and death to save a friend

I face my destiny
Everyday I live
And the best in me
Is all I have to give

Just like the sun
When my day's done
Sometimes I don't like the person I've become

Is the enemy within
Or a thousand men?
Should I walk the path
Of my worse or better half?

Is someone testing me
Everyday I live?
Well, the best in me
Is all I have to give

I can pretend
I am the wind
And I don't know if I will pass this way again

All things must end
Good-bye my friend
Think of me when you see the sun or feel the wind(*)

I am the wind I am the sun
And one day we'll all be one
I am the wind I am the sun
And one day we'll all be one

Where I'm Headed

"Where I'm Headed", Lene Marlin

(pass by don't dare to stop)

got a suitcase in my hand

filled with stuff most precious to me

sidewalk brings my feet

wherever they're headed

There's no directions given

just some trust in human mind

to rely on and to hold on to

honestly don't know

where i'll end up at last

won't even count the days

one thing i'm sure know

i won't move so fast

my mind in complete haze

I pass by

don't dare to stop

when there's someone i see

there's no one here but me

i'm fooled by something inside my head

if i lay down now

i might seem kinda dead

just keep on wasting time

scary thoughts and frightening sounds

in my mind still i try to avoid it

heading through this hope not one way alley

i can't really sense my surroundings

seems to be all dark around

nothing there to lighten up my way

honestly don't know where i'll end up at last

won't even count the days

one thing I sure know

i won't move so fast

my mind in complete haze

i pass by

don't dare to stop

when there's someone i see

there's no one here but me

i'm fooled by something

inside my head

if i lay down now

i might seem kinda dead

just keep on wasting time

I walk slow in secret

listening to the sound of steps

imagination seems to go all crazy

I've got all the time I need

wanna dream fulfil my wishes

like this future already now been entered

i pass by

don't dare to stop

when there's someone i see

there's no one here but me

i'm fooled by something

inside my head

if i lay down now

i might seem kinda dead

just keep on wasting time

Voglio andare a vivere in campagna

"Voglio andare a vivere in campagna", Toto Cotugno

Voglio andare a vivere in campagna

The World Is Outside

"The World Is Outside", Ghosts

Where'd your sense of adventure go?

You sit at home, with dinner on a tray,

The world is outside.

Do you remember how it used to be,

At 17, I've never been the same,

Forgot my lies.

She said, we could do anything, we can do anything,

Oh oh oh oh,

Open your eyes; the world is outside your door,

Oh oh oh,

Don't tell me your story if you don't have one.

The last Monday in January,

Is apparently the worst day of the year,

Maybe they're right,

I don't even know what day it is,

I'm tired of this, wish we were kids again,

With time on our side,

She said, we could do anything, we can do anything,

Oh oh oh oh,

Open your eyes; the world is outside your door,

Oh oh oh,

You're kidding yourself 'cos everything else is old.

Oh oh oh oh,

Open your eyes; the world is outside your door,

Oh oh oh,

Don't tell me your story if you don't have one.

Oh oh oh oh,

Open your eyes; the world is outside your door,

Oh oh oh,

You're kidding yourself 'cos everything else is old.

Oh oh oh oh,

You're taking your time; the world is outside your door,

Oh oh oh,

Don't tell me your story if you don't have one
